A WOMAN caught using the train without paying for the fare has been fined £400.
Elizabeth Copping, aged 53, was found guilty in her absence of travelling on a train at Bolton Railway Station without paying £4 for her ticket.
Copping, of Pigot Place, Latchford, was also ordered by Bolton magistrates to pay £4 compensation, a £40 victim surcharge and £150 costs.
The offence took place n November 20 last year.
