ARE your ready to lose the tyre around your waist?

Personal trainer Paul Warburton, whose gym is based at Evans House near the town centre, is hoping to help Warrington lose 100 stone during a 19-day advanced detox campaign known as Project X.

Starting on Sunday, Paul is hoping around 150 people will sign up to the free programme to hit his 100 stone goal.

He added: "We will all be working together to support, encourage and battle the urges so we can celebrate at the end right in time for the party season.

"Anyone new to it can look forward to a strict but effective programme which will help you drop around a stone in weight and a serious number of inches in 19 days."

Participants in the town will also get access to free training classes and calls from Paul to check on progress.

He added: "It's something I've wanted to do for a while and I'm really looking forward to seeing how many people will get involved.

"It's pretty obvious that the nation is getting fatter and it's because we are eating too much rubbish.

"Simple instructions will be given out via the Facebook group and email so you can't miss them and before you start you'll get a list of all the foods you need to avoid and a shopping list of all the things you can and should eat."
