IT’S not every day that you play a part in making a man a millionaire.
But Baqar Hussain, the manager of Bridge Lane Store in Appleton, did exactly that when he sold Warrington Wolves fan Simon Rustage a winning £10 scratchcard last week.
The dad of four will now pocket £250,000 a year for the next 15 years after purchasing the winning National Lottery Mega Rich Scratchcard.
“He was in shock. He asked me to check it because he wasn’t sure,” recalled Mr Hussain about the moment Mr Rustage discovered his luck was finally in.
“He always comes in the shop and he has been in since. I was happy to be one the one who sold it to him.”
