A SURVEY carried out for a popular green area in Paddington has highlighted problems with litter.
The majority of residents who use the Linear Trail and Paddington Meadows say there is too much litter and dog dirt.
Results showed more bins are needed, along with more benches and better signage.
The survey was carried out by the New Cut Heritage and Ecology Trail Group, with help from Warrington Borough Council.
The trail group is aiming to establish improvements to the area.
Clr Ian Johnson, chairman of Poulton with Fearnhead Parish Council, said: "Feedback is planned to assist with potential future bids to organisations for grant funding.
"Thank you to all who gave their time to complete the survey."
