THREE men who threatened a shopkeeper with a knife in Orford during an attempted robbery are still wanted by police.
Investigations are on going into the failed robbery on Sunday, February 22, at around 8pm at Concord News and Convenience on Poplars Avenue.
The men, who were all wearing hooded coats, left the scene empty handed after the shopkeeper refused to give into their threats for cash.
DC Ian Bingley from Warrington CID said: "I would like to appeal to anyone who was in the local area at the time this incident occurred and believes that they may have any information to contact Cheshire Police."
All three offenders are described as being white men between the ages of 20 and 25.
The first offender is around 5ft 8ins, slim build, wearing a dark jacket and dark trousers.

The third offender is around 5ft 6ins, wearing a grey and blue padded jacket with a fur hood, grey trousers and dark coloured trainers.

Anyone with information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 682 of 22 February 2015 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
