HEAD to the Tim Parry Community Centre on Cromdale Way on Sunday for a Frozen invasion fun day and car boot sale.

Claire Shipley has organised the fundraiser to collect vital cash to fund treatment for sister Suzanne.

The Great Sankey woman, who will be celebrating her 30th birthday next month, has been suffering with chronic pain linked to type 1 diabetes, as previously reported in the Warrington Guardian.

Claire added: "Money raised so far has gone towards hypnotherapy and physiotherapy at Spire hospital and the hypnotherapy has been making a big difference to her chronic pain.

"People don't seem to realise how aggressive the condition can be and we're still looking at other options abroad."

The free event from 12 to 4pm includes a Frozen sing-a-long with children encouraged to come dressed as their favourite character, bouncy castle, ice cream van, facepainting, donkey rides and stalls selling crafts, jewellery and clothing.

Vibe dance school will also be performing as well as emergency services vehicles for youngsters to explore including a fire engine, Marine Search and Rescue lifeboat and CSOs in the area will be visiting with a police car.

Car boot stall holders need to pre-book with entry costing £5.
