THE sun was shining for another successful Croft Carnival.
Floats this year included a garden theme, musicals and fairytales as youngsters donned their best fancy dress for the cameras.
Jim Wilkes, chairman of the carnival committee, said he was delighted with the event which has been a tradition for nearly 45 years.
He added: "We like to keep it very village-orientated and keep it as a village fete.
"It's a celebration between the rural community and farmers who have been restoring old tractors and vehicles to pull the floats which looks great."
