A SUSPECTED drug dealer has been arrested following further raids on a flat off Collin Street and Leicester Street today, Tuesday.

The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

A quantity of heroin was found at the scene in Bewsey following the raid at 11am.

A search is currently under way.

Earlier this morning, officers stormed a house in Latchford during a second day of police raids with the fight against drug-related crime by Cheshire Police showing no signs of easing.

A search of the house on Morris Avenue  uncovered a substantial quantity of cannabis after officers battered down the door of the property at 8.30am.

Two men were inside the property at the time of the raid.

Both have been arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs and were taken to police custody to be questioned.

One of the suspects was also arrested on suspicion of breaching a court order banning him from owning dogs.

Two American Bulldogs were also seized from the house.
