Fire stations set for open days
BIRCHWOOD and Warrington Fire Stations will be throwing open their doors this weekend for two family fun days.
Activities include chip pan and road safety demonstrations as well as modern and vintage appliances on display and some specialist vehicles.
Birchwood Fire Station on Ordnance Avenue will be open on Saturday from 10am until 4pm while Warrington Fire Station's open day takes place on Sunday from 10am until 4pm on Winwick Road.
