A HAPPY Lymm couple said 'Pie do' on their wedding day as they celebrated their love for each other and their favourite pastry.

Bride Jenna Wallis was taken to the ceremony in a Holland's Pies van, her wedding cake was the shape of a three tier pie and the highlight of their honeymoon is a trip to the pie factory.

The 34-year-old, who tied the knot to groom Stephen Tobin at Statham Lodge Hotel in Lymm, says her love affair with pies started as a child living a 'stone's throw' away from the Holland's Pies factory in Accrington.

And love was in the air when she met cigarette salesman Stephen, aged 35, who shared her passion for a moist crust and a deep filling.

Jenna, 34, who works as a sister on a critical care unit at a Manchester hospital, said: "I remember the gorgeous smell of them cooking at 4pm and that left a lasting impression on me.

"Though fortunately, not my waistline as though I reckon I've eaten two Holland's pies a week for more than 30 years and I still weigh around nine stone.

"We now live in Lymm and the local fish and chip shop sells Holland's Pies so it's a dream location for me."

Groom Stephen, who has two sons George, aged five, and Harry, aged two, with Jenna said: "You would think I had eaten all the pies, not Jenna, as my waistline is under more strain.

"But it's all done in moderation and she looked absolutely good enough to eat on our big day.

"I still cannot quite believe that we're having a honeymoon in a pie factory!"

William Smith-Coats, Holland's sales and marketing director, said: "Jenna could be starting a trend.

"This will be the first time though that we've had a honeymoon at the factory.

"We've got plenty of production lines but we won't be launching any reproduction lines.

"The happy couple will have to go back to their hotel for that."
