SHOPPERS in the town will be setting their alarms tonight in the hope of picking up an early bargain during Black Friday sales tomorrow.
Golden Square shopping centre opens at 8am while Tesco on Winwick Road will be closing their doors at midnight to prepare for the sale and re-opening them at 5am for those keen to bag a discount.
Sainsbury's on Church Street is also taking part in Black Friday with the supermarket letting shoppers in at 7am and expecting most of their sale items to sell out within 30 minutes.
Asda has already announced none of its stores will be taking part.
