THE Halifax bank on Buttermarket Street was evacuated this morning after reports of a burning smell.
Three fire engines were on the scene at around 9.30am this morning, Friday, and firefighters carried out a full investigation of the building.
Luckily no casualties were reported and the burning smell was a false alarm.
