As we enter the week before Christmas, many will be looking forward to a cosy evening at the cinema for Christmas Eve this Saturday.

For anyone wondering what is on, we’ve got you covered as we will round up all the films that you can pop down to see on Christmas Eve.

Odeon Warrington

A common saying about films is that they transport you to another world. Well at the Odeon in town there is only one world they are looking to transport you to, and that is Pandora.

The long-awaited sequel to Avatar, Avatar: Way of the Water, is the only film showing at the Odeon in town on Saturday, with nine different screenings at various times throughout the day. Six of these are in the 3D that the Avatar franchise is now known for.

Cineworld Warrington

Whilst Cineworld is similarly flooded with screenings of Avatar 2 (21 whole showing of it), they are also showing arguably one of the most beloved Christmas classics: Muppet’s Christmas Carol.

The film starring Michael Caine as Scrooge opposite a cast of Muppets has just had its 30th anniversary and will be showing at Cineworld at 5:40pm on Christmas Eve.

Warrington Guardian:

This is not their sole Christmas film showing, however, as they are also showing Bishop’s Wife, a classic from the 40s starring Cary Grant and Loretta Young that just this year had its 75th anniversary.
