THE K's have revealed their new single - a month before bringing their tour to Parr Hall.

“Black And Blue” has been released today, ahead of their highly anticipated debut album ‘I Wonder If The World Knows’, out April 5.

The news arrives as the Earlestown band also confirm a stretch of intimate in-store shows at independent record shops across the nation in the run up to the album’s release - the full list of which can be found below.

Speaking of the track, singer Jamie Boyle said: “Black And Blue tells a story that is all too familiar for people growing up in working class towns. What feels like an innocent attempt of trying your luck with a girl, quickly spirals into one of the local hard men listing pages and pages of ways he’s going to mutilate you.

"Despite this, many will still try their luck as a black eye or two feels like a small price to pay.”

The K's hugely anticipated debut album has already received thousands of pre-orders and will be available on vinyl, cassette, CD and all digital platforms.

Jamie says: The long wait is nearly over, and we are finally on the brink of releasing our debut album. I Wonder If The World Knows is a written journey throughout the last couple of years of our lives throughout the ups, the downs and everything in between.

We’ve put our heart and soul into making the perfect record and we can’t wait for you to hear it.

The band has previously opened the main stage at Neighbourhood in Warrington as well as gracing the main stages at Leeds, Reading & Kendal Calling, and tore the roof down at last year's Tramlines, with hundreds unable to get into the big top to see them play.

They’ve supported Liam Gallagher, James and Blondie. Their debut single Sarajevo notched up over 5.1 million streams, and their recent single Hoping Maybe became a phone-lights-on live anthem that reached number 2 on the iTunes chart.

The K's play Parr Hall on April 10.
