A NEW chicken shop has opened its doors in the town centre.
After months of construction work, Roast officially opened in Golden Square yesterday, Thursday.
And it is already proving a hit, shown by the queues of people patiently waiting for their chicken fix throughout the day.
The eatery offers breakfast up until 11am, with its own recipe ring sausage, delicious local bacon, and a range of editions for customers to make their own breakfast.
Then at lunch time, there are endless options of chicken – including salt and pepper chunks, lemon pepper strips, stakka burgers, boneless boxes, toasted baguettes, and much more.
Rotisserie chickens and roast joints can also be found.
The new Golden Square store marks Roast’s sixth opening in six years.
It has a site in Birchwood, as well ones in Lancaster, Preston, Bellevale, and Birkenhead.
“Great addition to Warrington town centre,” said one chicken lover.
