YET another property in Warrington has seen permission granted for conversion into a HMO.

Plans had been submitted to Warrington Borough Council’s planning department for a section 192 certificate for number two Collin Street in Bewsey.

The application was for a lawful development certificate to be given for a proposed change of use from a regular dwelling-house to a six bedroom HMO.

HMOs, or houses of multiple occupation, have been approved regularly across the town over recent months.

This latest application has been granted for applicant Dean Parata.

In planning documents, he said: “The existing property was a C3 use class property, and we intend to convert it into a C4 use class property and use it as a HMO.

“The property will house 6 bedrooms and will be occupied by six unrelated individuals.”

In approving the plans, the council said: “The proposed change of use to provide a small HMO would comply with the criteria of permitted development.

“It is therefore recommended that a lawful development certificate for the proposed development is approved.”
