FORMER Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher was among the crowd as the Stone Roses played at the Parr Hall in Warrington last night.
The free gig, announced at 4pm, attracted a packed house of fans and invited guests.
The band, fronted by Lymm resident Ian Brown, played 11 songs in an hour long set.
Fans got a ticket to the gig by bringing a piece of memorabilia with them. HMV in the Golden Square sold out of all their Stone Roses material.
The set list was: I Wanna Be Adored, Mersey Paradise, Sally Cinnamon, Made Of Stone,(Song For My) Sugar Spun Sister, Where Angels Play, Shoot You Down, Tightrope, Waterfall, She Bangs The Drums and Love Spreads.
