SALFORD Red Devils player Tommy Lee has been fined £300 by an independent disciplinary tribunal after pleading guilty to Grade A punching in the 59th minute of a First Utility Super League fixture against Hull Kingston Rovers.

Lee was also suspended for one match after submitting an Early Guilty Plea to making a Grade B shoulder charge on Travis Burns in the 59th minute of the same match.

Burns and Hull KR team-mate Adam Walker, and Salford player Josh Griffin, submitted Early Guilty Pleas to Grade A punching offences in the same incident. All three lose the option to submit EGPs for the next 12 months.

Kevin Sinfield of Leeds Rhinos also submitted an EGP to making a Grade C head-butt on Castleford Tigers player Luke Dorn in the 74th minute of a Super League fixture played on Thursday July 17. Sinfield was suspended for two matches.
