IN the Cheshire Football League Reserve Division Cup, Eagle Sports moved into second in group two thanks to a 0-0 draw at home against Grappenhall Sports.
Grappenhall now sit in fourth, a point behind with a game in hand.
Whaley Bridge made it 10 games unbeaten in Reserve Division One as they beat current champions Greenalls PSO 2-1 to go seven points clear at the top of the table.
Tom Scorer found the net twice for Whaley, while Greenalls’ goal came from Ben Warder.
Fifth place Styal won 3-1 at Rylands courtesy of goals from Sean Nolan, Troy Hayden and Joe Cooper. Michael Southern netted for Rylands.
Daten remain mid-table after beating Middlewich Town 2-0 away from home, with Jake Elwell and Dave Kellett both getting their names on the scoresheet.
