TOM Murray looks set to miss the cut at the Joburg Open despite recording a second-round two under par.
A double bogey on the seventh looks likely to cost the Lymm golfer, who eagled the par-four 17th and is currently tied 99th in South Africa.
The European Tour debutant headed in level yesterday at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club.
Birchwood’s Phil Archer was also playing in South Africa, finishing two shots behind Murray on one over after two rounds.
Archer finished level par on Thursday and after three birdies he double bogeyed the 14th, before pulling a shot back on the par five 15th.
