SIMON Grix has joined Wakefield on loan.
The Warrington forward is yet to play a Super League game this season as he continues to recover from a spiral fracture to his leg suffered at the end of the 2014 campaign.
That was in a win at St Helens on September 4 in the penultimate game before the play-offs.
But Grix will join the Yorkshire outfit, coached by Tony Smith's brother Brian, with immediate effect ahead of their Middle 8s campaign.
Warrington Wolves’ medical team will still be influential in the 29-year-old's ongoing recovery.
