THE skipper, Tony Smith, players and fans react to Wolves’ semi-final defeat.

Post-match:

Joel Monaghan: "They handled the conditions well and we left it too late to come back.

"To our credit, we stuill had a bit of fight in us but you've got to play smarter for the first 60 minutes than we did.

"It's disappointing."

Tony Smith: "I thought we had a bright start. We just lost some of the control of the match.

"We lost the tempo of the game and it suited Hull KR. They slotted into the tempo very well.”

WorkingMum66: Cant wait for a CLEAROUT & new players to arrive !

Roquetas: Hard luck wolves. The ball was a bit cruel to u guys. But well done well bounce back

Furbyswench: Tony Smith lovely coach and person---but time to go now aka moody blues sang!!!! sorry the truth hurts bye bye!

Crofty11: To have Sandow introduced to them and sat in the stands laughing and joking with Smith was humiliation for the players, especially the HBs Smiths team choice with Wheeler, could of had Penny on the wing and Joel at centre, looked too big a game for Sam Wilde but he will fantastic in years to come.

Facebook:

Ray Astbury: No excuses best team on the day won , great to watch and could of gone either way right till the end . Must say thanks to Lee Briers trying to encourage the lads he's got wire in his blood. Good luck Hull in the final . WTID

Dave Myles: Robbed of the showpiece final between Saints n Wolves. Wont watch Leeds tear Hull apart

Caroline Harvey: Why did Sims go off nr end x omg he is the future captain and was motivating everyone

Papa Al: Atkins needs to pass more. We would've been 18-0 up in the first 20 minutes if he did.

Lee Chambers: *cough* anyone who thinks the Sandow signing wasn't a good one...? Today was another example of very predictable and static in attack. Monaghan has lost his edge since being made captain and someone like Sims should be made captain.

Lynda Clynes: HKR wanted the win no leadership again!!!!!!

Sean Kelly: Desire. They had plenty we had non. End of Ralph Johnson: Poor attack, get Sandow in next week
