WOLVES winger Gene Ormsby will return to the Wolves starting line-up in Saturday’s Challenge Cup clash with Oldham, head coach Tony Smith has confirmed.

The 23-year-old has been on a month’s loan at Huddersfield Giants and has made two appearances for Paul Anderson’s men, scoring a crucial try in last week’s win over Leeds Rhinos.

However, his loan expired this week and Smith confirmed he would be returning to the team at Bower Fold.

“Gene Ormsby is back and will start on the wing for us on Saturday,” he said.

“It’s good to have him back, he did well at Huddersfield and he’s ready to come back in and do a job for us now.”

Ormsby will make his first Wolves appearance of the season after scoring 11 tries in 17 games in 2015.
