LYMM rider Sean Neary celebrated another podium finish as his Zoek Racing team enjoy their best start to a season to date.

Despite qualifying in sixth place, Neary stormed through the field to take second place in the first race at Brands Hatch on Saturday in the second round of the Ducati Trioptions Cup.

He finished fourth in his second outing of the weekend, meaning he sits in second place in the overall standings behind leader Rob Guiver.

Neary’s latest success comes off the back of a double podium at Silverstone in Round One and he says he is confident going into the next race at Donington this weekend.

“It’s been another consistent weekend so I’m definitely happy,” he said.

“To grab second on Saturday only 0.7 off the win was a good feeling, especially as the conditions were mentally challenging.

“It’s Donington next up so I can’t wait to get going again.”
