WOLVES scrum-half Chris Sandow and hooker Brad Dwyer have both been named in head coach Tony Smith’s 19-man squad for Friday’s clash with Leeds Rhinos.

Sandow, 27, has not featured since tearing his hamstring in the away win over Wigan in April 1, while 23-year-old Dwyer’s last appearance was back in March, when he suffered an ankle ligament injury in the home win over Castleford Tigers.

However, both have proved their fitness in time for the game against Brian McDermott’s struggling Rhinos at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Meanwhile, Ryan Atkins and Rhys Evans both return after missing last week’s Magic Weekend round with concussion and a shoulder injury respectively.

The men to drop out of the squad are Matty Russell, who suffered a hamstring injury during the 34-14 defeat to the Tigers in Newcastle, as well as Morgan Smith, Joe Philbin and Jordan Cox.

McDermott is boosted by the return of several experienced players, with vice-captain Rob Burrow and forward Brett Delaney both coming back into the squad along with Liam Sutcliffe and Mitch Garbutt.
