FANS attending Wolves’ home game with Leeds Rhinos on Friday will also get the chance to see the brightest young talent in English rugby league show off their skills.

The England Academy side take on France under 18s as a curtain raiser to the main event of the evening at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, kick-off 5.30pm.

Andy Kelly’s side will be looking to avenge a 30-28 defeat to their cross-Channel rivals last time they met and the coach says they are looking forward to putting that right as they warm up for their upcoming tour of Australia.

“This is a big opportunity for this squad to play at a Super League stadium in front of a large crowd,” he said.

“Obviously the game against them in France last year didn’t go our way, but we learnt a lot on that trip and we know what needs to be done to get the desired result.

“Preparations for the game are going well, the boys have been working hard all year and relationships are developing.”

The game is included in the price of a ticket to the Super League clash, which costs £21 for adults and £15 for concessions.
