A LOCAL derby at Monk Sports Club saw Woolston Rovers A take the spoils against their Crosfields counterparts on Friday evening.
Craig Middlemore opened the scoring for Rovers before Lewis Perrin forced his way over in the corner to reply for the visitors.
Rovers’ Jack Holt raced 80 metres and put his side back in front before Patryk Mazur crashed over to extend the lead.
Perrin crossed again before a Jordan Chilton try reduced the deficit to just two points, but Steve Arnold kicked a late penalty to seal Rovers’ win.
