WARRINGTON Wolves fans should keep a date free - just in case!

The John Smith’s Stadium in Huddersfield has been chosen as the venue to host the replay of the 2016 Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Final on Wednesday, September 7 should the game between Hull FC and Wolves on Saturday end in a draw at Wembley Stadium.

The replay would kick off at 8pm, with live coverage on BBC Two from 7.30pm.

Wolves are scheduled to host Widnes Vikings in the Super 8s two days later, and three days earlier they will be in France to tackle Catalans Dragons.

The Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Final is the only rugby league match that goes to a replay rather than be decided on the day by golden point.

Details of ticket availability and prices for the replay will be announced on Saturday evening in the event of a draw.
