LYMM Rugby Club can now plan their way through what is set to be a historic 2023-24 season.

The Crouchley Lane outfit will play in the Rugby Football Union (RFU) National leagues for the first time ever after winning the Regional One North West title last season.

Adam Fletcher’s side lost only three of their 22 matches and were rewarded by edging out Blackburn to win promotion to National League Two North, which features some iconic clubs within the sport such as Rotherham Titans, Preston Grasshoppers and Hull Ionians among others.

Their first game of the new season will see them welcome Wharfedale to their home ground on Saturday, September 2.

Indeed, three of Lymm’s first four fixtures are at home, with Huddersfield and Tynedale also visiting Crouchley Lane during the opening month of the campaign.
