WARRINGTON Town have moved to bolster their squad ahead of tomorrow’s home game against Boston United.

Versatile youngster Kacper Pasiek has joined Mark Beesley’s squad, with the Polish teenager arriving on a short-term loan deal from Preston North End.

The 18-year-old, who is said to be capable of playing in a multitude of positions in both defence and midfield, is in contention to make his Town debut when the Pilgrims visit Cantilever Park on Saturday.

It marks a continuation of a healthy link-up between Yellows and the Championship side, with full-back Josh Seary having spent a successful loan spell with the club last season before returning to contend for a first-team spot at Deepdale.

And Beesley says the intention is to pursue a longer-term loan deal for Pasiek next season having given him a taste of life at the club.

“Kacper is a good signing for us,” he said.

“He’s a player we’ve identified for next year as someone we could bring in on a long-term loan like we did with Josh Seary.

“The opportunity came up for us to bring him in for a month at this stage of the season and have a look at him.

“He can play in a variety of positions up and down on the left, he can tuck in to the midfield and even play left centre-half, so he’ll give us that left footed option.

“He’s a big powerful lad who Preston think very highly of and we’re glad Preston trust us to continue his development with us.”
