I STRONGLY object to there being a town centre site in Warrington to be used as a ‘sex entertainment venue’ (Warrington Guardian, March 7).
It is hard enough for some people to keep control of their sexual appetites without providing extra stimulation for them.
At Christmas, 3,000 people attended The Halliwell Jones Stadium to sing carols.
The majority of these people are Christians and would strongly object to a sex entertainment venue on the grounds that Jesus said: “If a man looks on a woman with a lustful eye, he has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
“If your eye offends, you pluck it out. Better to enter heaven with one eye than to enter hell with two. As a man thinks, so is he.
“Beware lest any man puts a stumbling block in any man’s way.”
The proposed establishment could well attract the kind of people who could be a threat to the young people who come to the town centre in the evenings viewing pornography.
This can destroy lives and marriages.
