THE article in the Warrington Guardian detailing Warrington Borough Council’s licence rejection of plans to turn Truth nightclub into a ‘sexual entertainment venue’ must have come as a relief to all right-minded people.
A licence granted for such a venue would have seen a massive increase in criminal activity in Warrington, not to mention sexual exploitation and ‘people trafficking’ gangs.
Warrington MP Andy Carter is right – lap dancing is a thing of the past.
As for the building’s future, surely the answer would be to transform it into Mr Smith’s 2,to be opened by none other than Warrington’s own Pete Waterman, of Hitman and her fame.
Happy days for Warrington.
